Gegründet im Jahr 2008, belebt die Band aus Abtsgmünd (Baden-Württemberg) immer noch die Szene und überzeugt ununterbrochen sowohl ihre wachsende Fangemeinde als auch die Musikpresse. Nicht nur die drei Alben “Anchors Apart” (2012), “Utopia 2.0” (2014) und “Worldwide Warfare” (2017) und die zwei EPs “Kingdom Of Hades” (2010) und “Die For Something Worthwhile” (2019) lassen sich in der Bandgeschichte verzeichnen, sondern auch hunderte von Live-Konzerten in verschiedenen Ländern, bei denen Necrotted ihre pure Energie bereits auf unterschiedlichsten Bühnen entfesselt haben.
Mitreißende und melodische Gitarrenriffs kombiniert mit schmetternden Blast Beats und harten, stampfenden Slam Parts formen die brutale Mixtur des Quintetts. Der musikalische Sound wird abgerundet von tiefem und hohem gutturalem Gesang, der die eingängigen Refrains und lyrischen Highlights der Lieder klar hervorhebt. Das neue Album „Operation: Mental Castration“ folgt diesem Trend und entwickelt die Sounddimension der Band dabei konsequent weiter. Zudem kann das Album abermals mit einem für Necrotted charakteristischen, anspruchsvollen lyrischen Konzept aufwarten.
„Operation: Mental Castration“ wurde im März 2021 über das aufstrebende Label Reaper Entertainment Europe veröffentlicht und setzt einen neuen Maßstab für modernen, abwechslungsreichen Death Metal.
Emerging from the heart of Europe, Abbie Falls is a relentless powerhouse that smashes you in the face with destructive breakdowns and relentless riffs as well as pulling you in with lyrical themes about everyday struggle not only with the world around us, but in our own heads as well.
With their debut EP in 2021, Abbie falls have proven themselves to be a force to be reckoned with, crossing over 2 million streams in an unprecended fashion and recieving huge praise, both in their home country of Czech Republic and the rest of the world. The Prague-based band recently signed to an US based label Seek and Strike and released their newest single Parasite, exploring the despair of toxic relationships between people and the addiction people can develop to each other, while dwelling in negative enviroments.
Shortly after, the band followed up with Hell is Other People, focusing on existentialism described by Jean-Paul Sartre with his famous quote and philosophy about our own mind and the people around us. In November of 2022 the band dropped their second EP, along with a music video for the song Pitch Black.
Exceedingly low guitars paired with dark melodies create a melancholic atmosphere that characteristically stands for the thrilling sound of the modern metalcore band DEFOCUS. The quartet from Aalen was founded by Simon Müller, Jeffrey Uhlmann, Jonas Mahler and Marcel “Bambam” Heberling in early 2019 and already convinced the scene in its first year of band history with energetic live shows. With their very own diverse style and catchy songs, the young band wants to delight fans of different genres with their first release.
Being exposed to the pandemic, Defocus managed to work on the majority of their songs in elaborate and late-night online sessions. This way every member had the possibility of contributing ideas and emotions to perfect the writing process. While the pandemic was still in full swing, all tracks were recorded remotely from home while Christoph Wieczorek from Sawdust Recordings took care of the mix and master, to make it represent itself as a modern and impulsive overall package of modern metalcore.
